* Bins for those wishing to get rod of knifes under the 'knife amnesty' are to be placed in two Fermanagh Council amenity sites, at Lisnaskea and Irvinestown.
* Figures given out by the PSNI to members of the Fermanagh District Policing Partnership, for April, 2005 until February this year, showed there were 565 reported incidents of domestic violence logged at Enniskillen Police Station.
* A Roslea priest, Fr Jeremiah McGrath pleaded not guilty at a court in Liverpool of sexually assaulting a 12-year old girl and helping another man to groom her for sexual abuse.
William Adams (38), from Newtownabbey, appeared at the same Court, by videolink. He is accused of child rape. Fr McGrath is currently suspended by the Church from carrying out his ministry.
* Derrygonnelly-born, Mary Cunningham, who is the Director of the National Youth Council of Ireland, was one of 20 people appointed to serve on the Republic's Task Force on Active Citizenship.
It will look at voluntary organisations and their contribution to making life better for people.
